Hannah's Story

Hannah McIntyre is an Orlando-based abstract realism artist working in mixed media, with each piece finished in oil. Her work explores emotion —often incorporating animals and water as symbols of joy, innocence, and new beginnings. Each painting is designed to feel like a breath of fresh air: light-filled, and expressive.
Since beginning her professional practice in 2023, Hannah has established herself through consistent exhibition at art markets and festivals, live painting performances, and her recent gallery debut at Sobo Art Gallery in Winter Garden. Her work has resonated with collectors drawn to both its emotional depth and uplifting presence, leading to a growing base of original and print collectors alike.

A defining moment in her career came with the sale of her first original painting, Sound the Trumpet (pictured on the left). Purchased by a musician preparing to travel abroad, the piece became a moment in time reminding Hannah that art as a career, inspiring people to chase their own dreams, was something that was actually attainable.
Hannah’s process is both intuitive and layered, starting each canvas through mixed media before completing it in oil. This approach allows her to capture a sense of movement, texture and depth that allows her to build a world for each subject.
At its core, Hannah’s work is about connection—between the artist and the collector, the past and the future, struggle and growth. Her paintings invite viewers not to remain where they’ve been, but to move forward with a sense of hope and possibility.
In addition to her studio practice, Hannah continues to teach and is developing a program focused on guiding beginner artists through her process—from building a canvas to completing a gallery-ready piece.
