Rich Hues Lingers Past the Horizon
At exactly 5:27pm the first balloon in the “Walla Walla Balloon Stampede” took to the skies. It was a partly cloudy day with a chance of slight rain, but not enough to keep anyone grounded. One after another new designs lifted off. From the ground the view was encapsulating, but once in flight, and the sun barely tucked behind the hills, the colors were enough to make a grown man cry. And cry they did.
